Access to Work

3SC holds a contract for Access to Work in Wales.

Having contacted DWP Access to Work, 3SC (or one of our sub-contractors) will arrange for one of our Assessors to contact eligible customers to complete an assessment, enabling customers living with physical or mental health disabilities and conditions to continue to contribute to the success of their respective organisations.

3SC works with a range of partners, including national charities such as RNIB, specialist assessment centres such as RNCE and educational establishments like Glyndwr University.

By using a bespoke IT portal, 3SC assigns eligible customers to an Assessor,  manages the assessment and confirms DWP approval of the assessment.  The portal has reduced the administrative burden on our partner organisations by 50% and freed up resource to allow more time to be spent on assessments with eligible customers.

Dennis Dearden, Director of Sales and Marketing at Abilitynet, one of the organisations working in collaboration with 3SC to deliver assessments, said,  ‘using the portal has meant we at Abilitynet can work with a greater efficiency than ever before in delivering this kind of support. The fact that the system is bespoke and cloud-based means all the boxes are ticked around security measures, which for us is an immense advantage’.
