The first bid is to reduce reoffending amongst 18-24 year olds who have been released from prison after serving sentences of less than one year. This contract would be delivered in the London Boroughs of Tower Hamlets and Newham. The second bid is to reduce reoffending amongst older ex-prisoners in the North of England.
We anticipate that the results of the PQQ evaluation will be announced by the Ministry of Justice in mid-February 2012 and that there will be two further stages of competition prior to the contract award. We are not currently inviting expressions of interest from member organisations for these pilots but will update on these potential opportunities as we move forward.
