GLA SUPPORTING PARENTS INTO WORK

3SC invites expressions of interest (EOI) from organisations who want to work in a consortium to deliver the GLA Supporting Parents into Work Service.

Programme Information

The GLA through their ESF programme are seeking to commission a service to support parents into sustained employment. The service across London will help a minimum of 420 participants sustain employment (including self-employment) for 26 weeks (out of 32).

The GLA has allocated up to £4m across the 3 year life of the scheme and the expectation is that provision will be open to residents of every borough. This does not mean that we need to deliver the service in every borough but we do need to find enough suitable delivery sites and providers to provide an accessible service.

Key issues to help participants overcome include:

  • Childcare issues;
  • Low skills;
  • Low self-confidence and esteem;
  • Navigating the benefit system;
  • Gaining real work experience.

The tender is due to be launched in the winter of 2019 with delivery commencing in the Autumn of 2020.

If you are interested in joining 3SC’s delivery partnership please complete this EOI and return it to andy.shields@3sc.org by 29/11/19.
