Tower Hamlets – Mental Health Recovery, Wellbeing and Employment Service

3SC invites expressions of interest (EOI) from organisations who want to work in a consortium to deliver the Tower Hamlets Mental Health Recovery, Wellbeing and Employment Service

Programme Information

Tower Hamlets are tendering a service called Mental Health Recovery, Wellbeing and Employment Service. This service is worth just over £7m across 5 years and is spilt into 4 lots. Lot 4 is The Employment Hub and has an indicative budget of £1.65m across the 5-year life (3 years plus 2 x 1 year extensions) of the scheme, this would correspond to an annual value of around £330k.

In exchange for this funding they expect the service to carry an active caseload of at least 150 customers with mental health problems and to work with them to help them find and retain work.

The key targets for the service are:

  • 10 job outcomes per quarter;
  • 6 people into self-employment each quarter;
  • 20 people into volunteering each quarter;
  • 100 people into employment placements each quarter

There are additionally other targets about signposting people to other services and helping those in work both retain their employment and progress their careers.

The service is currently out to tender and responses are to be submitted by 6th March 2019 with the result due in April.

If you are interested in joining 3SC’s delivery partnership please complete the EOI that has been linked below:
